Magic Spells Poem

This is a poem that I wrote for English, and I won a prize for the best boy's poem in the class. I was voted for by my classmates. I won a spooky pen that lights up, and eyeballs come out. Tell me what you think of my poem.

Magic Spells

Hocus Pocus Diddley Dee,
Eternal looks that’s for me.
A spoonful of fake tan you must add ,
So you look like a handsome lad.
Pour in some anti wrinkle cream,
So that your face does gleam.
Here's a very handy tip,
Add some lip gloss for your lip.
Pour the potion into your bath,
Stay inside for an hour and a half.
When you get out open your eyes ,
And in the mirror there’s a surprise.

This is me and my friend holding up our poems which the teacher laminated. The teacher told us to pull funny faces. It was special Halloween day in English.

Hehe that's a great poem Sam. Very you. Although I'd be careful with the lip gloss if I were you!

Here's a little poem of my own for you.

My nephew Sam's a talented lad
Even if he's a little bit mad
He seems to be good at everything
The envy, I think, of every king
I am sure that he'll do well
In every area he'll excel
Acting, singing, writing poems
What will he choose? No-one knows!

Love the poem Sam, heres one for you---

There was a young fella named Sam,
Who smothered himself in fake tan,
He went on the stage, became all the rage,
But his tan got all wet and it ran.

Have a good day
Love G.|G.Dad Peter
