Magic Spells Poem

This is a poem that I wrote for English, and I won a prize for the best boy's poem in the class. I was voted for by my classmates. I won a spooky pen that lights up, and eyeballs come out. Tell me what you think of my poem.

Magic Spells

Hocus Pocus Diddley Dee,
Eternal looks that’s for me.
A spoonful of fake tan you must add ,
So you look like a handsome lad.
Pour in some anti wrinkle cream,
So that your face does gleam.
Here's a very handy tip,
Add some lip gloss for your lip.
Pour the potion into your bath,
Stay inside for an hour and a half.
When you get out open your eyes ,
And in the mirror there’s a surprise.

Fishing with Grandad

On Friday me and Grandad went fishing. I caught a tiny fish and was very proud of myself. It was the first fish I ever caught, but not the first time I ever went fishing. I had lots of fun, even if it was pouring with rain. Grandad came back for dinner and we cooked him food out of our garden (fish as well - hehe - but not the fish that I caught, it was too small to eat). I had a good time and I hope to go fishing again some other time.
